Friday's Hunt with Eden Hills - 10/01/2016

Hello everyone...ahhh yes, if you are reading this it must be FRIDAY again...

This week our fearless leader Teresa at Eden Hill's  challenged us with Starts with N, Weeks Fav and I made this!

Soooo from my vacation pictures...we Starts with N, most of the pictures are of my son, NICHOLAS being silly on vacation. A few other that start with N are thrown in, The red door is for the Dairy Queen, in a town called Nocona, in Texas.

For This Weeks Fav: These pictures I took at the car wash in CA, I guess I could have used it in the M's, but I really liked how the soap suds came out in different colors.

And since you have seen my jewelry, I also design and arrange the flowers at my church, below is one I made for the 4 of July service.

Friday's Hunt with Eden Hills 09/09/2016

OH MY...OH MY....It's Friday again. Hard to believe there is only one Friday in the week. Seems to come around so often. This week Teresa from Eden Hills challenged us with Starts with K, Weekly Favorite and Yellow or Gold.

Unfortunately I didn't have many K's in my vacation pictures but did find a few: A JacKalope I forgot last week...my son being Krazy with a Kactus...Knots in a tree that was in my brother in law's yard, A Koyote.. and a train with Kline on the side....

As for my weekly favorite...I have a picture of my youngest granddaughter after day care...she has fallen asleep on mommy....so cute!! She hasn't gotten used to being on the go all day with lots of other kids...lol!

As for Gold or Yellow, I chose to put together a collage of pictures of a sunset I took while in CA. We were standing on Coronado Beach.

It was so great there! If it wasn't so far, I would drive there again!

Friday's Finds with Eden Hills 08/26/2016

And here it is again. Is it me, or do the days just seem to speeding up?  Once again I join Teresa at Eden Hills for our weekly Friday Finds.  This weeks prompts are: Starts with I, Fav of the week and Pink.

As always, I am trying to do all the alphabet using my vacation pictures. The letter I wasn't easy, since I didn't go through any states that start with I. But I gave it a whirl anyway. So for I, this is what I have:

This weeks favorite is a hoot. Some of the ladies of our church got together and celebrated our friend, Miss Mary's, birthday at Denny's.  It was such fun. As we were leaving I saw this pancake cutout and asked her to stand in front of it. 

What a hoot!!!!

For pink I put together some pictures of plants and flowers from my yard.

Friday's Hunt With Eden Hills 08/13/16

Hello again. Thanks for joining me for another Friday's Hunt with Teresa at Eden Hills. This weeks challenge is: Starts with G, Weeks Favorite, and Wheels.

As I continue to work my way through the alphabet with Teresa, I am working my way through my vacation to California pictures. For G this week I have: Grand Coteau, Green Tree Bark, Goofy Son with a Gator (not real), the Golden Acorn Quick Mart we stopped in on our way out of California, a REAL Gator, a gecko sunning himself, and a sign for the Gainesville Volunteers.

For Wheels, I was a bit stumped, BUT my vacation pictures came to the rescue! These pictures are of all kinds of wheels we saw while on vacation!

And last but not least my favorite of the week: a picture of my Church's band that I sing with.

Friday's Hunt 08/06/2016

Welllll it is Friday again. I just don't understand how they come around so fast. Seems like it was just last Friday.

So this week Teresa from Eden Hills has given us a new picture challenge: Starts with F, Weeks Favorite, and Shiny!

So for Starts with F: I went to my vacation pictures and found some pictures that started with F.

 For this Weeks Favorite: We had a Child Dedication at my church for this little cutie. He is so sweet! I just love this shot of him.

And for Shiny: Well I was stumped there...but I design jewelry so I had some stones and things sitting on my desk. So I put them together and took a picture. The ruler was metal and shiny, and the wire was silver and shiny. Then my beads were shiny and the pendant on the necklace my husband made is shiny. Also. the package AND the buttons were shiny.

Friday's Hunt with Eden Hills - 07/30/2016

 

Oh my, it is Friday again...amazing how quickly that day comes around... AND it is time again for Friday's Hunt with Eden Hills.  This week the prompts are: Starts with E, Bouncy, and Weeks Favorite.

Since as I mentioned before, I am trying for this round of letters to get them all from our trip to California. This week was easy! On our way home we stopped in EUNICE, LA to see my Aunt. And of course I had to take pictures.... Below the first set are pictures that were taken around the EUNICE Depot Museum.

It was Sunday and nothing was open...sigh...but we got some pictures anyway.




For BOUNCY I really had nothing....so I made  asked my son to help me. He is jumping or bouncing in the living room with a box of BOUNCE in his hands....

And for my favorite of the week....I am a Clive Cussler fan!!!! And I had collected so many of his books that I had to clear off another shelf to hold all of them. Some of the titles I have more than one and that is because each one has a different cover.
