Friday's Hunt with Eden Hills - 07/30/2016

Eden Hills

Oh my, it is Friday again...amazing how quickly that day comes around... AND it is time again for Friday's Hunt with Eden Hills.  This week the prompts are: Starts with E, Bouncy, and Weeks Favorite.

Since as I mentioned before, I am trying for this round of letters to get them all from our trip to California. This week was easy! On our way home we stopped in EUNICE, LA to see my Aunt. And of course I had to take pictures.... Below the first set are pictures that were taken around the EUNICE Depot Museum.

It was Sunday and nothing was open...sigh...but we got some pictures anyway.

For BOUNCY I really had nothing....so I made  asked my son to help me. He is jumping or bouncing in the living room with a box of BOUNCE in his hands....

And for my favorite of the week....I am a Clive Cussler fan!!!! And I had collected so many of his books that I had to clear off another shelf to hold all of them. Some of the titles I have more than one and that is because each one has a different cover.

So there you have it....so glad you could drop by...and next Friday is just around the corner so don't forget to come back and see what I posted.

For more great post head over to Eden Hills and take a look...Til next week...

Keep on Snapping...

    1. Yep, it was amazing how many different cities and town names we saw on vacation...especially when they were the same as in Fl

  4. Hi Vera ~~. We were out of town this weekend, to northern Louisiana, so I am late checking in here. Farmerville, La, is north of Ruston, almost to the Arkansas border. Mrs. Jim is from Alexandria, La, which is in the center of the state. Her sister and BIL live there. The week before we drove over, from Houston, to Baton Rouge to visit her 96-year-old cousin. Mrs. Jim went to college at Baton Rouge. We stopped on the way to Broeaux Bridge and ate. I had a catfish dinner, it ha only two small strips of fried catfish and five onion rings, for $7.99. Ripoff. This week I had a catfish basket in Farmerville with a nice salad bar, five nice sized pieces of fried catfish, and gobs of French fries, for $8.99. I'll go back there, besides my camera memory was in my computer at the house. I need a picture for blogging.
BTW, I have never eaten oatmeal, I don't like it, and gagged on it at home as a child.
Mrs. Jim said there is also a town named Duson.. I am not familiar with Clive Cussier. I will check him out, thank you for bringing him here.

    1. Wow..you have ties to La that is for sure. I love Clive Cussler. I have read just about all of his books. It was interesting to read his first books and see how he matured as a writer into his latest books!

  5. What a shame Eunice was closed the day you were there. I had to chuckle at your photos for bounce. How fun! I love a good book collection.

  7. I loved reading the last names on the stone marker-says so much about Eunice. I considered the Bounce in a box, too, but I have no son to supply the motion. :D Yours is a good sport. Love the bookshelves! They have a way of making a room.
