Friday's Hunt with Eden Hills 09/24/16

Eden Hills

Well, it is that time again....and yes I know it is Sat, and I know I missed last week, but last Thursday, we had to put our sweet dog, Miss Penelope, of 12 years down due to health issues. It was very, very hard and I just really didn't feel like doing anything for the weekend. Then yesterday I attended a memorial service of a dear friend from our church...so this week I am a day late.

For these weeks prompts, we have Starts with M, weeks favorite, and work.

And as I continue with my vacation pictures, what better to show than MOUNTAINS. Not sure where each one is but they are all west of Texas.

As for my favorite of the week..this is my husband watering the garden. He didn't know I had taken it til I posted it on FB. What a hoot!

And I really don't work. Just a part time job. Most of the time I am creating and making jewelry or one of the other crafts I love. Or sewing at the church, or thrift store hunting.

So there you have it. It is my story and I am sticking to it. For more great pictures hop over Eden Hill's.

Till next time..Keep on Snapping.

  1. Hi Vera ~~ I am very sorry to hear about Miss Penelope. Of course that is the best thing for them but it is really hard. I still miss our Adi, she was my buddy. On the vet's table, she looked up at me with big trusting eyes when the needles went in. We all cried, the vet also.
Vera, I have to say it, everything is bigger or more in Texas. We don't have the highest mountains but we do have quite a few. Most people aren't aware of that. We have a very nice park fairly close to where you were, Big Bend Ranch State Park — Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. It is large, has large mountains with trail you can climb. They used to have a little personal ferry, it was a boat and wouldn't hold a car, that went across back and forth into Mexico. You pull yourself along like doing a clothes line. There weren't any customs or border patrol there, just a nice friendly sort of arrangement.
You Hubby has a neat way of watering. I couldn't handle that I'm afraid, I would go to sleep and water the wrong things.

  3. So sorry to hear about your dog. It's always so difficult to say goodbye to our furry friends. You shared such beautiful shots of the mountains. Your hubby is funny! What a relaxing way to water the garden!

  4. I am so sorry to hear you've lost your dear furry friend. It's always so hard to say good-bye. I had to smile at hubby watering the garden. The jewelry is beautiful! Thanks so much for joining in Friday's Hunt. Hope you have a great week.
