Inspire Change: Wellness Words Jewelry Challenge

In this challenge Tracy Statler at Make Bracelets has challenged us to pick a "healthy" word and design a piece around it.  My word for this year is "growth" so I came up with a simple design on memory wire that simply says "bloom where you are planted".  I am planted in Florida, so I will try to bloom and them maybe move on.. I used memory wire, letter beads, silver metal flower beads as dividers, and pastel colored glass seed beads in between the words and flowers. Anyway, below are the pictures of my bracelet. Yes, I know a few of the letters are upside down, but that's what you get when watching TV at the same time......:-)

  8. Those letters are just following the message and behaving right wherre they are. Like those messages about how all you really need are the first and last letters in words and if the middle is mixed up you can still read it.

  9. That is a great message. I think that it is so easy to want to leap to the next adventure and see where others are planted and want a bit of their grass and shade but really you need to focus on the environment you are in and make the most of the time you are given no matter where you are. I think this would make a great reminder to look down upon on your wrist. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the day. Erin

  10. I love memory wire bracelets and you chose a good phrase for yourself! I could use a little blooming in the florida sunshine right now. I think it's great that you were watching tv when you created it and it just does not matter if the letters are a little mixed up. Thanks for much for participating in the challenge!
